Paying Dues

Dear [current and future] ESWIP Members,

Greetings from Johanna Luttrell and Amy Nigh, your new ESWIP secretary and treasurer. We both look forward to meeting and working with the many ESWIP members, and, in general, promoting the positive encouragement and recognition of women and feminist-friendly scholars in our field!

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: ESWIP DUES

It’s that time of year again! We are reaching out to you today to kindly ask you to submit your annual membership dues to ESWIP. Eastern SWIP is supported by annual dues and sometimes receives institutional support from the colleges and universities that agree to host our annual conference.  Our funds are spent mainly on our annual conference expenses (light refreshments and room fees) and a panel at the Eastern APA. Additionally, as a member of SWIP, you are entitled to a discount on a print subscription to Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy. After paying your SWIP dues, please go to the Hypatia subscription page directly to subscribe.

Following are the current rates for SWIP dues:

Full-time professional    $30.00

Part-time professional    $20.00

Student/underemployed     $10.00
